Staff Accountant - Oilfield related Manufacutring Company!
Growing oilfield related manufacturing client seeks a Staff to Senior Accountant due to promotion!
This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will assist with the monthly consolidation and closing process, including accounting for intercompany transactions, monthly journal entries, monthly variance analysis, and other aspects of accounting and reporting for both the business unit and corporate parent.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the proper accounting for newly created legal entities and acquisitions
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and schedules as required business unit and corporate purposes.
Possess an understanding of consolidated and consolidating financial statements
Assist in various special projects and in-depth analysis on a regular basis
Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger for related companies, including preparation of monthly journal entries
Prepare various other monthly ad hoc financial reports and reconciliations
Assist with creating annual budgets and updating forecasts on a quarterly basis for a $100 million line of business
Cultivate a working relationship with operations management to provide timely, useful financial analysis
